The questions which were asked included how important the undergraduate students believed transferable skills were. This was followed by questions about ones admit ability with transferable skills as well as the influences of their first year courses in creating more skills to prepare for the medical profession (Whittle, Eaton, 2001).The analysis of the specific subjects led to the same attitude among almost all first year students. Each believed that transferable skills were important in moving into the right career field and achieving the needed goals as medial students. It was also noted that all of the participants believed that organizational skills and self learning skills were the most important in building the correct transferable skills for the profession. Most of the students had a high level of confidence in their own skills with male students having a significantly higher amount of confidence than women.
